Celtics remain heavy favorites to win series
The Boston Celtics took a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 117-106 victory in Game 2 on Tuesday night. The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who scored 29 points, and Jaylen Brown, who added 23 points.
The Cavaliers were led by Darius Garland, who scored 25 points, and Evan Mobley, who added 21 points. However, the Cavaliers were unable to keep up with the Celtics' hot shooting, as Boston shot 50% from the field and 42.9% from three-point range.
The Celtics now have a 2-0 lead in the series and will host Game 3 on Thursday night. The Cavaliers will need to win at least one game in Boston to keep their hopes of advancing to the Eastern Conference finals alive.
